Terrence Ross scored a season-high 30 points in the Knicks vs Magic matchup as Orlando rolled to a 107-89 victory on Wednesday night. The Knicks defensively were right around their season average but just could not find an answer on the offensive end to fall to 14-16 on the season.

Terrence Ross: The hero in Knicks vs Magic
Ross called the win a “team effort” but he was the true MVP of the night. Ross made 10 of 16 shots and connected on 5-of-6 three-point shots. Not enough offense
It’s no secret that the Knicks own one of the worst offenses in the league. Randle led the Knicks with 25 points but the Magic limited him to just eight points in the second half. The Knicks fell to 2-9 on the season when the team doesn’t score at least 100 points. RJ Barrett added 15 points.
Knicks vs Magic game analysis & commentary
The most frustrating aspect of the Knicks vs Magic game was that the Magic are not a good team. Just when you think the Knicks are going to get over the hump and become a winning franchise, they tease you and then slide right back down to loserville. The Knicks are 9-6 against winning teams this season, while 5-9 against teams with losing records. How does this continue to happen?
Lack of experience
When looking through the starting lineup, which players own valuable winning experience outside of Taj Gibson? The longtime Chicago Bull is the only player on the team to ever play in a Conference Final. Randle and Barrett are the cornerstones of this franchise but have never made a postseason run.
Magic was missing heavy hitters in Knicks vs Magic
The Magic didn’t have Markelle Fultz, who is out with an ACL tear. Cole Anthony didn’t play with a shoulder injury. Fournier played for the first time in a week after getting hit with an injury. Aaron Gordon has been out for nearly a month. Yet, somehow the Knicks lost by 20 points?
The Knicks were supposed to play the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday but it’s canceled, so the team waits until Sunday to host the MinnesotaTimberwolves.
